Lens Baby 1.0 Review

I am writing this to show the lens baby 1.0 and its image-producing potential.

There are a number of excellent resources for evaluating lenses found on the Internet. Many are based upon subjective evaluation of the items in question, but only a few provide a truly encompassing overview based on a single person's experience.

The experience i want to share is the experience with my Lens baby 1.0. A fun versatile lens adds a creative spark to your everyday images. What it basically does is selective focus, bringing one area of your photo into sharp focus, highlighting your "sweet spot."

The Lens baby gives your photos a unique look, a signature that only a lens baby or maybe a more expensive tilt and shift lens can do, but would you spend so much for a lens that has limited uses? What can the lens baby do? It can give you more control with your artistic execution, adding blurring, glowing highlights, prismatic color distortions without the need of any photographic software or image enhancing software, great for digital or any film camera.

Recommendation: This lens isnt for just anyone, This is lens is for the Photographer that wants to add a twist to his photography. The lens baby forces you THINK, combining your motor skills in pushing or pulling the tube to get the optimal focus you desire and effect you want to achieve. NO AF, NO Metering (available on some cameras) just pure basic photography. It gives the same impressionistic feel and look as the Holga Cameras to any Digital Camera.

Should you buy it? Buy it only If you feel that you want to put some life into your everyday "AUTO everything" life.

There is new version of the Lens Baby, version 2.0 which offers a sharper spot focus with minimal diffusion.
