Butuan



The city of Butuan is a highly developed city and is considered as the center of the CARAGA region. The city is famous for the Agusan River (which is the widest, deepest, and longest traversable river in Mindanao), the Balangay Shrine Museum, the Butuan Regional Museum, and Mount Mayapay.

Cagayan de Oro, or CDO, is one of the most significant cities in Mindanao and is the capital of Misamis Oriental. CDO is regarded as the Gateway to Northern Mindanao, and the City of White Water Rafting and River Trekking. The city is famous for the Macahambus Cave and Gorge, the San Agustin Metropolitan Church, La Castilla Museum, Gardens of Malasag Eco-Tourism Village, and Plaza Divisoria.

Bukidnon

Iligan City

Also known as the City of Majestic Waterfalls, Iligan is also known as the Industrial Center of the South. The city is the Mindanao region's source of hydroelectric power through NAPOCOR, and is home to industries such as steel, tinplate, pulp, paper, and flourmills.

Koronadal



The city of Koronadal is the capital of the province of South Cotabato. It is also regarded as the educational, administrative, commercial, and trading center of the province, including the neighboring Sultan Kudarat. It was also formerly famous for being the most competitive city in the southern region, with a recognition given to them in the early 2000s.

Marawi



Marawi, which is an Islamic city, is part of the province of Lanao del Sur and is its capital. Most of the city's industries are leaning toward resources such as rice and corn mills, hollow block manufacturing, woodcrafts, and garment making. Marawi is also famous for the Muslim's observation of Ramadan and other feasts native to the city, the beautiful sceneries, and the Kilometer Zero Point Marker.

Siargao Island

The island of Siargao is located in the province of Surigao del Norte. Since the island is facing the Pacific reefs and is situated on the edge of the Philippine Trench, the island is a prime spot for surfing, most especially between the months of August and November, making it the Surfing Capital of the Philippines. This is what makes Siargao famous among local and foreign surfers and non-surfers alike.
