Dont get me wrong i love my MAC just dont like the people that sell it!
I dont know where to start, there are so many things to say..

Was having problem with my computer right before i left for
Melbourne, Even went to Vic's office to ask for help. My Laptop seem to be scared of this Jedi so it worked fine in front of Vic and messed up again when i was in the airport.
Brought it to Apple Center Melbourne and even they couldn't find anything wrong with it, only to find out a few days after i get back from my trip, a window popped up and gave the message "Impending Disk Failure" this was at 2PM, called a few people and they told me to start backing up my files. I started.. but i never finished it would always hang on me. Decided to bring my powerbook to Apple Center at around 5PM my powerbook died and just got the folder with the question mark.
Started Texting K to inform her of the Hardisk which i purchased from them.

Anton : the 80GB hardisk i bought from you crashed. brought it to apple center to check. apple says apple care was registered for 40GB. They Told me bring it back to place i bought hardisk for warranty. isnt this less than a year?
Please advise what to do?
K: Please bring it here.
Anton: Will bring it tom.

Anton: Will bring bring hardisk around 1pm. can i get replacement right away? need it so they can install on laptop.
K: No Prob.
Picked the defective hard disk up from Apple center and brought it to K's office and they gave me the replacement in the plastic container of the 3.5 HD.. i asked if they can instead put it in the plastic protected envelope given by Apple Center Greenbelt. They placed it in the envelope and i left.
Brought the supposedly Brand New and Supposedly Unused HD to Apple Center for installation on my powerbok.
Gail gives me a call the next day to say that HD is old and used already, i brushed it off trusting K but was curious why Apple Center would say it was used. Told them not to touch the HD or load anything.
Went to Apple Center Greenbelt to pick up my laptop when i got there they showed me my powerbook running. Got the shock of my life, I asked them if they installed anything and they said nothing as per my instructions. When i checked the HD had a name.. Allan Tablada.. ring a bell? turns out to be the Tech guy of K. installed OS on my powerbook was 10.3.9...

Texted K Again about the HD.
Anton: Is the HD you gave me brand new?
K: Yes its brand new i cn show U d del receipt and d date
She called me and I told her that I saw the HD and there was already an OS installed and user name was Allan Tablada.
She then said the Allan was her technician. I told her that I expected a BRAND NEW UNUSED HD. She said whats the big deal if there is something inside? you can format the drive. I told her I expected a new unused HD. I then told her that i didnt want to do business with them anymore and said goodbye.
She then texted me;
K: Anton ths is nt fair, i dont hv stk of 80GB+ besides ths gv me ur addr i wl send d del receipt of my supplier and how u its a br new harddrv, hw wud i knw my servhice guy has put smthng there and if i are willing u use ths drv first i cn replc it nxt wt another hard drv.
K: Allan tablada is my technicians name i hv no idea what happnd there si i wl send allan to ur plc mon u cn talk wt hm ok?
K: U cn gv me bk d hard drv d amount u pd me initially i wl pay u bk ur money dats d best option i cn cm up wt its ur choice?
I then receive a Vcard from her and it was my business card.
Anton: Who are you sending my business card to?
K: Ur card? To my technician so he cn cl u and clarify
After a few minutes i get a text from the technician of K
Allan Tablada: Sir, this is allan of ___ commercial. Regarding the hard drive. Its new!
Anton: If its new why is there an OS installed and why are there pictures of your clients?
Allan Tablada: Ive usd it once in our client. it just so happen tht i wasnt erased b4 u pickd it up, but its new.
Never spoke to them again..
It made me think that what if the original 80GB on my powerbook was already used? Was it the reason that it conked out? I have a compaq presario and its 3 years old no problem.
I bought a mac mini and the other accessories just to catch up with work that i left pending because of my HD crash...
Can you imagine the hassle?
Put the HD in an external case. Here are photo capture of the contents of the HD that i have left intact;

This guy must be missing his Friends episode downloads
I did not bother showing the contents of the other folders because i feel that some of the items are too sensitive and not for public consumption.
I understand that items under warranty shall be replaced, if found defective, with a brand new item. New and unused.. did i get anything wrong here? or i just didnt read the fine print?
Just Sharing.. dont want you guys to make a mistake and end up on the losing end. am easy to please, i just dont like being cheated for what i pay for.
