Blogalicious is sporting a new fresh look!
July 7, 2008
We are sporting a new look! Why did we change the look? Well, we felt that the look was getting tiring and the space was too cramp for us.. we are also sporting a new header logo.. whats with all the festival photos? Shooting festivals is a passion and a way of showing the world what the Philippines has to offer..
Another reason is that the blog is growing and we need room to grow.. who knows maybe we can start getting direct sponsors.. ;P as for now, we will do what do best.. keep shooting..

If you interested to join us in our journey around the islands, do drop us a line or check out the Philippine Festival websites to get the schedules of the Fiestas happening around the islands.
We shall be starting a new segment online, know your camera.. we shall disect the camera and show online how to use.. or how did they do that.. short online lessons for the digital photographer. There will be many more surprises to come!

June 27, 2008
Just when you think the news is out about Photographers fighting to protect their rights online.. here is another copyright violation story about Photos of taken from a flickr account and used in a Cebu Daily.

How did i find out about this? someone posted a link to my story and i was checking the sources of traffic and decided to click on the link and check out what they were saying about my case vs. manila bulletin but instead i find out that another copyright violation has happened.. this time philippine photographers with photos on flickr.. and a Cebu Daily.
“are you aware na ginamit ang pics natin sa isang local newspaper sa cebu?”

What to do? Here is something I wrote on how to deal with someone stealing you photos online..
I think the photographers should unite and fight violations agaisnt our copyright.. how do we do it? I dont know.. a suggestion made by a fellow photographer was to use my case and show up during the first hearing to show that the community of photographers are united against copyright violation against photographers..
any other suggestions are most welcome…
