There are dozens of new iPhone apps that keep popping up here and there.. here are some of the best new iPhone Photography Applications that we have tried.. some offer new things but some are just rehash actions or effects that are already available in the apps store.

Our favorite would be the QuadCamera here are some photos taken at the Caracol Festival using the Quadcam iPhone App.

8. iBoble 3D - $0.99 – Photography Entertainment app that lets you take photos of your friends and put them on fascinating, frightening and funny dobale head dolls.
9. Vint B&W - $0.99 – Shoot black and white pictures straight from your iphone and get the vintage black $ white feeling.
10. Old Camera – Another application from Takayuji Fukatsu and this is his 2nd app in the series.  It can take black and white photos, hi-contrast black and white, silver toning effect, platinum toning effect, kallitype effect, sepia toning and cyanotype toning effect

I know i havent been updating this site recently since we are busy getting the new server ready to launch… but couldnt resist writing about 3 iPhone Photography Apps that give life to my boring iPhone Camera.

1. CameraBag – $2.99 at the itunes store

This is where the iPhone meets Lomography, change those plain looking snapshots in to artsy looking photos that will get you thinking if it was done on a iPhone. Take a photo or use an existing one from your iphone library and enhance the look easily. Add a mood to the photo by trying different simulations available.

I was excited to find another app but when i first tried it i got a flashing screen that i had to restart my iPhone for the app to work.. hmm.. It seems to be power hungry in terms of resources.. hopefully they can fix this in the next upgrade.

ToyCamera is a photo effector for the iPhone Camera It can only do 1 thing… just take a photo and it will do several random effects that will transform your photo..

3. ToyDigi – $4.99

when you open the app go to the upper left corner to “settings” choose your photo size and effect by sliding down the menu. The Effect is only applied to the actual photo taken.

Cool Photo Effect – creates a low saturated photo that is crips and calm

Vintage Photo Effect – creates a yellow-tinged photo that adds a vintage feel.

Nostalgic Photo Effect – creates a blue-tinged photo that gives a sense of nostalgia

Dynamic Photo Effect – creates a passionate photo by increasing vividness.
