Creativity or Tamad lang ako?

Here is an image i submitted and exibited for Zone V Camera club at the Katha Digital Image Gallery.
The theme was “in your face..” things shot up close that you couldnt tell what it was and keep people
guessing what they were..

What do you think this is?


I didnt have anything for the Zone V Exhibit at the Katha Digital Image Gallery yet and decided to shoot in the office and pick up things and see which ones
would be interesting to do.. The photo above is an glass ashtray that i picked up, pointed towards the window and shot..
I found the pattern of light interesting and asked if anyone in the office knew what i was showing them.. nobody got it right
so i guess it was a good subject and finally had 1 entry..

How would i do this shot now?

Do the same thing but would probably get a gel. cover a flash head and play with the light on the ashtray.. and or play with the white
balance settings to get something different. I prefer to capture the photo as is and minimize photoshop to the basic adjustments only..
I wish photographers do the same.. People have to distinguish between digital art and photography..
