   My suggestion to digicam buyers. Never ever buy a nikon coolpix. it’s a lousy digicam. I had a lens error repaired twice. the first one took a month, the most recent one took more than 5 months to get repaired. I sent the unit through Columbia Photo at SM mega mall last Sept 2, 2008 and I got the unit only yesterday Jan 22 after so many insistent demands and cajoling. I even threatened to report the incident to the DTI.

   If I get this stupid lens error again, I promise to break the unit and send to nikon for making me the saddest nikon buyer alive.

   sucks to be you Noel Royan hehehe. even though my using a nikon d60, why don’t you try canon, try the digital rebel, try the 1000D, it’s cheap. heheheh peace out ma men.

   noel royan…i do agree with you..my husband had just bought a digicam coolpix from abroad. my daughter tried to upload all her pictures taken to the PC at bigla na lang may tumunog sa computer and then that’s it “lens error” na after 2 days of enjoying the product it’s totally “sira na”. don’t know where to find an authorized nikon repair services to get the cam repaired..

    actually i just bought a nikon S220 in SM Megamall, the salesman there is very polite and knows what she was talking. i also have a canon ixus 90. to compare lang, pictures from my coolpix s220 is not good in the LCD, canon is very good..but when i printed the pictures, i noticed that nikon printouts are way better than canon..ayoko man aminin pero my ixus is only maganda sa LCD but when i printed it out its a MESS!!!but with my nikon, although hindi ganun kaganda sa LCD but when i printed the pix, it looks like its a true picure..now im impress with nikon!!

    im working here in oman in one of the biggest company herea khimji company . the truth is the khimji was the only retailer of nikon here also some of the high branded gadgets and products when the nikon SLR comes out to the market with the new model the D5000 i wish to buy it but its too expensive its around 600 omani rials worth 70k in pesos i have a discount as a staff half on that sales price… can any one give some idea how much there in manila… please send in my add.. vashleng@yahoo.com or romulo.kfd@khimjiramdas.com…. thanks and godbless
