Here is a another test.. taken a few seconds after…

Globe VISIBILITY NEWS

i thought when i saw all new ads about signal of globe getting stronger meant that it was about the whole philippines getting better globe signals and services.. but i was wrong.. here is the test i did a few minutes ago..

Globe visibility bandwidth test

Wouldnt you get disappointed? consolacion is 30-45 minutes away from the mall and i was getting decent speeds.. am here in manila.. makati to be exact and what bandwidth speeds do i get? 29kbps? thats even slower than dial up!!!!! This doesnt make sense to me.. last i was in cebu signal of globe sucked bigtime now they fixed it.. but manila where the density of users are concentrated and there are more globe visibility users their system has gone from bad to worse.. and this service is supposed to be a 2 year lock in and with a penalty clause that if terminated we have to pay globe a certain fixed fee… lets turn it around..

what will will globe give us in return for such lousy service? shouldnt we be charging them for the service they arent providing? for some, me included there is an opportunity loss to work online and it may even affect certain decisions or indecisions that we come to because of the lack of service of globe.

I will be calling the globe service center tom and complain.. if this doenst change i will depend a refund and termination of my account, if they give me trouble then i can give them the same..

if anyone asks how i posted this, yes I USED MY PREPAID SMART 3G ON MY PHONE AS A MODEM.. BECAUSE MY GLOBE VISIBILITY WAS ONLY GIVING ME 29KBPS…..

Everyday life in the Philippines: a photoblog by Anton Sheker

Since Blogalicious was somehow transformed into a announcement and new aggregator for photo related events and for my other online projects, i decided to make a new, purely photoblog that will be using my celphone photos of scenes of everyday life in this island we call home.

i will try to keep it purely celphone photos so i get a better raw street photography feel to the whole site and so I can do mobile photo blogging on the go with my globe visibility and smart 3G…

Come and see how I see everday life in the Philippines…. http://www.photo.net.ph/everydaylife
