Aliwan Fiesta washed out - Tribes drenched
Rain, rain come again another day little tribes want to play! What a day.. It didnt even start and the rained poured heavily.. Poor contingents drenched and hiding under trees or whatever they can keep themselves safe from the rain.Will the rain stop? Will they perform? Its 4:45 and it still hasnt started.. Updates lateredited: parade started at 6:15 .. Too dark to shoot unless you want to slow sync and play with motion blur! I prefer to shoot any fiesta with a bit of sun.. The rain ruins any happy festive mood.. but despite the rain.. The show must go on.. My bet for aliwan 2008 champions is TRIBU PAGHIDAET from the Dinagyang Festival of Iloilo City.it is now 630 and too dark.. We are now officially watching the festival! oh my god i can’t believe the parade still continued! we went home around 4:30 since the rain didnt seem to stop!!! please post some of your pictures of the parade and how was it

The performances at the Aliw Theater started a little past 8pm. I was too tired and cranky by then that after the fourth contingent, I bade Eric goodbye.
Rain really does put a damper in the moods, but the performers never showed it

i gave up at around 7:30.. didnt bother going to the aliw theater. Got a text from eric that the media boothwas flooded..
will post the photos i took later.. shot a few on my horizon so still have to process it.
I was advised by 9pm only 5 tribes performed at the aliw theater.. i wonder what time they ended..
