The Philippine archipelago is comprised of 7,107 islands and among them is the island of BORACAY known to be a breathtaking and south-after paradise.
Taking pride of its 4 kilometer long, fine white sand beaches, Boracay has evolved from a local tourist hub into a world-class travel destination. It has become the center of interest for both business and tourist travelers alike.

Traveling to Boracay is worthwhile in terms of money spent as well as the fun experienced. One can bask in the sun or take a dip in its crystal blue waters or enjoy the selection of outdoor activities then look forward to an entertaining and fun-filled night life of restaurants and bars serving sumptuous food from native delicacies to international cuisine.

May it be for a conference, meeting, convention, incentive, teambuilding, company outings, honeymoon, family get together or simply for leisure. Boracay has also been dubbed as one of the more popular out-of-town wedding destinations in the country today.

Here are some tips in getting to Boracay and where to stay:
LOCATION
Boracay Island is located in Aklan province 345 kilometers South of Manila. The island is conveniently accessible by air via Manila or Cebu through two main gateways: Kalibo airport or Caticlan airport.

TRANSPORTATION
One needs to take a plane ride from Manila to get to Caticlan or Kalibo.
Asian Spirit and South East Asian Airlines (SEAir) also fly between Caticlan and Cebu
Via Caticlan
For travelers taking the Caticlan route, they must take Sea Air, Air Spirit, Cebu Pacific or Philippine Airlines to bring them to the port of Caticlan, and then get into a 20-minute boat ride that would take them to the island of Boracay.
Via Kalibo
For travelers taking the Kalibo route, they must take a plane to bring them to Kalibo airport, from there they get into a 90-minute bus / van ride to bring them to Caticlan where boats are stationed to transport them to their final destination.

Airlines which fly to Kalibo are Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific.
Upon reaching the port of Boracay, tricycles are available to shuttle them to their respective accommodations, or they can make prior arrangements with their accommodations for pick-ups.

ACCOMMODATION
There are 350 accommodations with approximately 2,000 rooms varying from budget to high-end resorts and hotels that will suit everyone’s needs.
As of this writing, more hotels and resorts are being built, making Boracay one of the world’s hottest travel destinations.
