Possible End of third-party Epson inks.

epson third party ink

Epson has won first set of legal battle to ban third-party import of ink cartridges compatible with their printers within the US. If Epson wins the battle all the way, will they ban epson, inks, refills and refilling stations all over asia?

The Japanese manufacturer had filed a complaint with the US International Trade Commission (ITC) in Feb 2006, againts 24 manufacturers and importers of third-part inks, claiming that the companies in question had infringed Epson’s patents.

For years, Epson has been working towards ban on third party ink supplies, mostly with countries in the US and European markets with many of the accused companies settling with Epson out-of-court. Will the asian countries follow soon?
Epson will continue taking whatever action is necessary to protect Epson’s invaluable intellectual property rights. Watch out for the ruling on the case expected to be out on July 30.

Wait there’s more! Take a peek and see the Beauty of the Philippines!
