Nikon D2H and D1X Sale at Columbia Global Megamall: Confirmed!

Dropped by Megamall to confirm the sale of the 2 Cameras..

D2H Selling at Php 51,000.00 2 units left as of yesterday
D1X Selling at Php 53,000.00 2 unit left as of yesterday

Both units are still in the box, it seems like these were the Demo units before.. i checked the plastic cover and it was full of scratches and the clear plastic lining wasnt there anymore.. the box looked worn out but everything inside was still new.. Is it worth it? hmm i think the newer models in the market can give the 2 models competition in the Megapixel war... the D200 has 10MP while the D2H only has 4MP.. if you plan to enlarge your photos bigger than 8R sizes i suggest you stick with the D80 or the D200 which also have cleaner ISO files compared to the D2H and the older model D1X.
The only department i would say that the D2H and D1X wins, is its robust, rugged body.. able to take a beating more than the lower models.. but in terms of total quality output the technology of the later, newer models out class these dinosaurs...

Problems that plagued the D2H and D1x, Noise handling, battery life, white balance accurracy. If you willing to live with these minor glitches than maybe these camera will work for you.

Talked to fellow photographer Ken Go and he says from experience, the nikon d1x is a good studio camera and the nikon d2h is a good wedding/events camera. knowing what the strenghts of these cameras are will help you decide if it is still worth its price.. :)
