New Olympus E Series revealed on 5th of March at the Photo Marketing Association 2007 Show

Olympus Europe Digital SLR website hints at the announcement of a new Olympus E series digital SLR’s on March 5, 2007 just before the start of Photo Marketing Association 2007 Show in Las Vegas. The image shows darkened versions of two cameras with ‘5 March 2007′ labels on the cameras and the silhouette of a larger model in the background. (probably the E-1 replacement)

The Digital arena get more and more exciting with new cameras coming out and new models with better features, technology seems to be the name of the game and anyone who has something different or better or faster maybe bigger chunk of the digital camera pie this year.

I dont think any camera will come close to the Canon 1-D Mark III maybe not yet.. lets give it a few month.. give or take 3-6 months.. will the Nikon D3X come close?

Bulletin’s Picture Perfect section is inviting you to join in our “PHOTO CHALLENGE” – a
photo competition sponsored by FUJI-YKL, SM, and Kingston. Exciting prizes are at stake!

2007 Picture Perfect Photo Challenge

FEBRUARY TO MARCH

THEME: RED and GREEN
DEADLINE OF SUBMISSION: March 23
PUBLICATION DATE: March 27

APRIL TO MAY

THEME: My Summer Vacation
DEADLINE OF SUBMISSION: May 25
PUBLICATION DATE: May 29

JUNE TO JULY
THEME: Independence Day 2007
DATE OF SUBMISSION: July 27
PUBLICATION DATE: July 31

Mechanics:

• Open to all photograph-loving individuals (hobbyists, snap shooters, amateurs,
professionals)
• All entries must be in 8″x10,” full color prints on FujiColor Crystal Archive Paper (photos
taken using either digital or conventional cameras).
• Each entry must be accompanied by an information sheet (refer to PICTURE PERFECT
section which comes out every Tuesday or can be downloaded at www.yklcolor.com).
Photocopy of registration form is only allowed if two or more entries are sent).
• Participants can send as many entries as possible.
• The entry should not be entered in any other competition.
• All entries sent (prints only) are considered as property of the contest organizers.
• Winning entries may also be posted online right after the judging at www.yklcolor.com.
• Non-winning entries will have the chance to be chosen as “Photo of the Week.”
• Winners can win more than once during the promo period.
• Winners will receive an official call from Manila Bulletin and shall be given specific
instructions on how to claim the prize.
