Travel to Bohol
Bohol is a popular tourist destination with its beaches and resorts. The Chocolate Hills, numerous mounds of limestone formations, is the most popular attraction.

The island of Panglao, located just south of Tagbilaran City, is home to some of the finest beaches in the country.

The Philippine Tarsier, considered by some to be the smallest primates is indigenous to the island.

In the 1960’s, a nationwide reforestation program was launched by the government under, then president, Diosdado Macapagal.
This is what it looks like now!

Loboc one of the municipalities of Bohol is famous for its floating restaurants along the scenic and winding Loboc River.
Here is one of the photos of the river tour, where you dine on the floating restaurant as they cruise down the the lovely river.

Tourists also come here to see the tarsier, a small nocturnal animal with large eyes. This is one of the world’s smallest primates, which are now only found on several South-East Asian islands including the Philippines, Sulawesi, Borneo, and Sumatra.

Tigbao Hanging Bridge

We visited the Baclayon Church and was surprised to see solid colored stained glass that reflected the variety of colors on the floors of the
old church.. so different from the other churches ive seen around the Philippines..

Bohol seems to be like boracay set back 10-15 years.. nice and quiet.. you will see more foreigners walking around than you will see locals.
I dont think this will be my last trip to bohol.. I still have to explore the dive spots and the “balete tree” leading to the underground cave..

Wait there’s more! Take a peek and see the Beauty of the Philippines!
