Stop Over Magazine: A magazine that doesnt pay…

I tried calling stopover magazine thru Manuel Roma and found out that they are in trouble.. what kind of trouble? Financial trouble..

I shot for them last year and the Travel Destination was Cebu.. it has been more than a year now and still NO PAY.. it was an editorial shoot for them. I also shot some cultural dancers for them at the CCP and this too hasnt been payed. i decide to call Crisette from the magazine and she informed me that she already quit her work but will advise Manuel. I mentioned that I have been trying to reach him but he avoids my calls and texts. I even sent my messenger to pick up my check a few weeks back and their accounting department said that they have no record of the shoot.. “bullshit if you ask me… check the magazine!”

Lo and behold, I get a call from Manuel Roma of Stopover this morning. Only to tell me that there are in trouble financially and need to sort their problems first. They have not been paying their suppliers and advised me to wait… wait for their call to pay or wait for their call when they ready to pay because of the trouble they are experiencing.. I asked him when? and he couldnt give me a straight reply…

Are they going to pay? I have no idea… What am I going to do about it? let everyone else know… so you guys dont get fooled into shooting for them.. if they choose to ignore payment then i step up my campaign to let everyone know..
