SEA GAMES 2005

Was browsing thru the website for the 2005 Seagames and saw the Philsoc Media Bureau was headed by Mr. Vic O. Milan who is closely affiliated with the Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation.
I asked Mr. Milan how do we get accreditation to shoot and he said that anyone was free to shoot. Just show up with your camera and walk in. If photographers have Press passes it would be better to help in security checks.

Historical background of SEA Games
The South East Asian Games were known as the South East Asian Peninsular Games until 1975 when the SEAP Games Federation accepted Indonesia and the Philippines as members. The name was then changed to South East Asian Games.
The South East Asian Games intention is to rotate the hosts alphabetically by nation name which removes the politics of bidding for the games, and allows the host countries ample time to plan for their turn at the games.
